The Generic Implementation Guideline (GIG) provides a framework for developing pair-wise Joint Implementation Arrangements (JIAs) regarding the exchange of Trouble Administration data over a mechanized interface as defined by ANSI T1.227/228/262. This GIG document provides guidelines and recommendations for the implementation of Trouble Administration, irrespective of the technology, so business functions/processes can be implemented consistently.
