1.1This specification covers performance requirements for biodegradable hydraulic fluids with low aquatic toxicity used in industrial/mobile hydraulic applications.

1.2In some cases, biodegradable fluids have been found to perform differently than traditional mineral oils, thus separate performance requirements are desirable.

1.3The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
