Currently there is a lot of discussion between industry partners and public safety with regard to E9-1-1 accuracy whenever an E9-1-1 call is made from indoors. There is no question as to the limitations of Technology and its ability to deliver limited E9-1-1 accuracy when an indoor call is made from a mobile. Indoor use is becoming very common with the wireless consumer; therefore, a recommendations needs to be made for indoor testing methodologies and evaluations for determining when indoor testing is valid.
