This standard describes dual-disc, swing-check valves, sizes 2 in. through 48 in. (50 mm through 1,200 mm) for clean water having a pH range of 6 to 10 and a temperature range of 33 degrees to 125 degrees F (0.6 degrees to 52 degrees C). The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum requirements for materials, design, manufacture, testing, and inspection.
