This standard describes minimum requirements for materials, design, application, and inspection of an epoxy lining to the inside surface of previously installed water pipelines, 3 in. (75 mm) and larger. Pipe may be constructed of steel, ductile iron, cast iron, asbestos cement, or concrete. This standard can be referenced in documents for the purchase of in-place epoxy lining of pipelines for water supply service.
