Note: Sour Service includes a broad spectrum of service conditions. The materials listed herein provide resistance to piping material degradation/corrosion for a portion of sour service encountered in upstream and mid-stream. Consultation with a Corrosion Specialist is recommended for proper application of these piping material specifications to specific sour service applications and the recommendations of NACE MRO175/ISO 15156. Lower strength materials have been specified to limit hardness without PWHT.
