1.1 Form

This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of sheet over 0.010 to 0.249 inch (over 0.25 to 6.32 mm) inclusive, in thickness, clad on one side (see 8.4).

1.2 Application

This sheet has been used typically for brazed assemblies that are subjected to heat treatment after joining, but usage is not limited to such applications.
